MAXIMiPhone - Software Instructions (Unbrick and Unlock with SimFree)

Steps for "un-bricking" your anySim or iUnock iPhones:

• Follow the iPhone/iTouch dev team steps to bring your phone back to 1.0.2 system (your baseband firmware will still be the newer 04.01.13_G). Instructions in can be downloaded here.
• Register your true IMEI (found engraved on the back of your phone) with our servers through one of our trusted resellers.
• Power down your phone and REMOVE your sim
• Power up with the sim removed and Install SimFree.app 1.6 (simplest method is through apptapp installer, see instructions below)

(You need an active WiFi connection on your iPhone).

Here is how to get SimFree.app on to your iPhone by using AppTapp Installer.

1. Download and run AppTapp from http://iphone.nullriver.com/ (both Windows and Mac versions available)
2. Run Installer.app from your iPhone and select to install "Community Sources" from the list
3. Open Mobile Safari from your iPhone and go to http://tinyurl.com/2uj9mc
4. You will get a notice asking you to add the iPhoneSimFree repository to your Installer. Just accept and Installer will open.
5. Click "refresh" and you will now have SimFree.app in the * iPhoneSimFree * on the top in Installer
